The Hario V60 is the dripper that defined modern pour-over coffee. Crafted in Japan from durable, lightweight, heat-retentive BPA-free plastic, the 02 size allows you to brew single larger cups or 2–3 portions (200 ml to 550 ml) without sacrificing thermal stability.

Its signature internal spiral ribs elevate the paper filter to maximize airflow, while the large single outlet hole lets you dictate extraction speed through your pour rate. How much coffee does the V60-02 brew?

The 02 size is versatile, designed to brew anywhere between 200 ml and 550 ml of coffee (ideal for 15g to 35g of ground coffee), making it perfect for 1 to 3 cups.

Plastic has lower thermal mass than ceramic or glass, meaning it absorbs less heat from the water during brewing. This keeps your water temperature stable throughout extraction and makes it extremely durable and travel-friendly.
Do I need special filters for this size?

Yes. Make sure to use Hario V60-02 paper filters (the 01 size filters will be too small for this dripper).
